ISLAMABAD, Sept. 14 (Xinhua) -- Four terrorists were killed during a search operation by security forces in Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province, security sources said Monday.
The operation was carried out at about 8 p.m. local time on Sunday in Mastung district, the sources told Xinhua.
The security personnel were conducting a search operation when they came under fire from terrorists affiliated with the Balochistan Liberation Army, who were hiding in a compound, according to the sources.
"In response, the security forces launched a retaliatory attack, killing the terrorists," the sources said.
No casualties or injuries were reported among the security personnel. ■
