MOSCOW, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Eight people were injured in a Ukrainian unmanned boat attack on the embankment in the Russian city of Sochi on Wednesday, according to the Kuban Emergency Response Center.
A fire broke out along the Sochi embankment following the unmanned boat attack. As a result, "the beach infrastructure and a nearby section of the Primorskaya Embankment have sustained partial damage. Operational and special services are working at the scene," the center said in a statement.
Five of the injured were transported to medical facilities, while the other three received necessary medical assistance at the scene, the center said. ■
