BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- China stands ready to work with all parties to build the International Alliance Combating Telecom and Cyber Fraud into an important global anti-fraud platform and inject new impetus into improving global public security governance, Chinese State Councilor and Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong said on Thursday.
Wang made the remarks when addressing the Inaugural Conference of the International Alliance Combating Telecom and Cyber Fraud, held in the city of Lianyungang, east China's Jiangsu Province.
China is willing to work with all parties to actively implement the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind and the four major global initiatives, uphold the spirit of the rule of law and improve cooperation mechanisms, adhere to equality and inclusiveness, consolidate the foundation of multilateral cooperation, improve the anti-fraud governance system, and adhere to a practical orientation and enhance the effectiveness of joint enforcement actions, Wang said.
It is hoped that all parties will join hands and steadily promote regular law enforcement cooperation, organize professional training and joint drills to accelerate the overall capacity improvement, resolutely curb the spread of cross-border telecom fraud, and resolutely safeguard the well-being of the peoples, Wang added.
On the same day, Wang met respectively with Head of the State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Naghiyev, Cambodian Senior Minister and head of the Secretariat of the Commission for Combating Online Scams Chhay Sinarith, Minister of Home Affairs of Malaysia Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Artur Poghosyan, and Pakistan's Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi. ■
