BEIJING, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Tonga Islands at 1543 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 16.11 degrees south latitude and 173.22 degrees west longitude. ■
