TEHRAN, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- An Iranian oil tanker was targeted in a U.S. missile attack four miles (about 6.5 km) off Iran's southern Kharg Island Tuesday night, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported.
It cited local sources as saying the incident caused no casualties.
Earlier in the day, Iran's semi-official Fars news agency reported two explosions near Kharg Island. ■
