ISLAMABAD, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- At least seven people were killed and more than 60 others injured when a tractor-trolley carrying wedding guests collided with a trailer in Pakistan's eastern Punjab province, police said Sunday.
The accident occurred near the Zahir Pir area in Rahim Yar Khan district on Saturday night, where the tractor-trolley carrying the wedding party collided with the trailer, police said, attributing the crash to the trailer driver's negligence and reckless driving.
The injured were shifted to Sheikh Zayed Hospital for medical treatment.
A hospital spokesperson told Xinhua that four people were pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, while three others later succumbed to their injuries during treatment. ■
