HANOI, Sept. 3 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's durian export value reached an estimated 1.95 billion U.S. dollars in the first eight months of 2026, Vietnam News Agency reported Thursday, citing the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
China is Vietnam's top market for durian exports during the period, according to the report.
The ministry aims to raise durian export turnover to at least 3.85 billion U.S. dollars this year, matching last year's value, or potentially to around 4 billion U.S. dollars, Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment Dang Ngoc Diep said. ■
