GENEVA, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- The squads of the 24 teams for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup 2026 were confirmed on Tuesday as Poland, Benin, Ecuador, New Caledonia, Portugal and Tanzania will make their debuts in Poland from September 5 to 27.
The 24 teams from all six confederations will line up in six groups, with the top two in each group and four best third-placed sides qualifying for the knock-out stage.
This is the 12th edition of the event, to be staged in Katowice, Bielsko-Biala, Lodz and Sosnowiec of Poland. The final will be played in Lodz on September 27. ■
