CAIRO, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping said Tuesday that China and Egypt set an example of friendship, solidarity and coordination between developing countries, with strong political mutual trust, fruitful mutually beneficial cooperation, and close and effective coordination in multilateral affairs.
Xi made the remarks in a written speech delivered upon his arrival in Cairo for a state visit to Egypt at the invitation of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. ■
