BERLIN, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- An explosion near the main train station in the southern German city of Augsburg on Wednesday injured two people, causing the temporary closure of the station, which was later reopened.
An unidentified object exploded in a passageway of a building and slightly injured two people aged 17 and 18, according to Bavarian state police.
Police later found another suspicious object at the station, prompting the temporary suspension of train services and the station's closure. The object was later found to be harmless, and the station was reopened, an Augsburg police spokesperson said. ■
