BEIRUT, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- A teenager was killed and another injured on Monday afternoon when an Israeli bomb exploded in the town of Haboush in southern Lebanon's Nabatieh district, Lebanon's National News Agency reported.
The report said the teenager Mohammad Ali Ibrahim, whose father had been killed in Israeli attacks, was injured "when a bomb left over from the Israeli aggression exploded" and later died of his wounds.
The incident came after the conclusion of the seventh round of Lebanese-Israeli talks in the Italian capital Rome, aimed to strengthen security arrangements along the border and work toward implementing a bilateral framework agreement.
Separately, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, during a meeting with Greek President Constantine Tassoulas in Athens on Monday, said that Lebanon is determined to end its state of enmity with Israel and pursue peaceful relations with its neighbors, stressing that diplomacy is the only way to resolve the region's problems, according to a statement released by Lebanon's presidency. ■
