TEHRAN -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said multiple military personnel and civilians were killed or wounded Sunday night in a "U.S.-Israeli" attack on Iran's southern Larak Island in Hormozgan province.

KATHMANDU -- Nepal's National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority said that as of 6:00 p.m. local time on Sunday, 781 bodies had been recovered from mudslide-hit areas, with 2,502 people still missing.

LOS ANGELES -- More than 20 people may be missing or unaccounted for following a flash flood in Grand Canyon National Park in the U.S. state of Arizona, authorities said Sunday.
The "significant flash-flood event" occurred in Bright Angel Canyon and the Phantom Ranch area on Saturday, the U.S. National Park Service said in a news release. It urged "anyone who knows of hikers or backpackers who were in the inner canyon along the Bright Angel Creek corridor on August 29, as well as anyone who had a campground reservation in the affected corridor, to provide information to the National Park Service Investigative Services Branch." GENEVA -- A fatal shooting at a rave party in the early hours of Sunday has left one young woman dead and five others injured, as Swiss police are conducting a nationwide manhunt for the unidentified perpetrators.
In a press conference held on Sunday evening, Swiss authorities detailed the latest findings from the deadly shooting.
