TEHRAN, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said it shot down a U.S. MQ-9 drone over the Strait of Hormuz with air defense missiles, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported on Monday.
The drone has crashed into Gulf waters, the report said, citing an IRGC statement. ■
