RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Dynamo Moscow has reached a deal with Botafogo to sign winger Matheus Martins, according to media reports in Brazil.
The 23-year-old will travel to Russia in the coming days to undergo a medical and sign a long-term contract, newspaper O Globo said on Tuesday.
It added that Botafogo had accepted a transfer fee of seven million euros plus one million euros in bonuses.
Martins, whose contract had been due to expire in December 2028, made 91 appearances for Botafogo and scored 10 goals following his July 2024 move from Udinese.
Dynamo Moscow currently has three Brazilians in its first-team squad: Midfielder Rubens, midfielder Bitello and forward Arthur Gomes. ■
