HOHHOT, Aug. 26 (Xinhua) -- The death toll rose to five as one previously missing person was found dead on Wednesday, one day after a vehicle fell into a river in Xinghe County, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, local authorities said.
The incident occurred when flash floods triggered by rain hit the area, according to Ulanqab City authorities, which administers the county.
The cause of the accident is under further investigation. ■
