BEIJING, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Tonga Islands region at 1019 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 17.92 degrees south latitude and 172.23 degrees west longitude. ■
