BEIRUT, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Two teenagers were killed in an Israeli drone strike on a motorcycle in southern Lebanon, Lebanon's official National News Agency (NNA) reported on Monday.

Islamic Health Organization ambulance teams recovered the bodies of Hussein Shakroun and Ahmad Roumani, both 17, from the town of Deir al-Zahrani in the area of Nabatieh, according to NNA.

The victims had been reported missing since Sunday before their deaths were confirmed, NNA added.

Separately, the agency reported that Israeli warplanes on Monday struck a house in the al-Deir neighborhood of Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while artillery fire targeted the Ali al-Taher woodland and the Doha Kfar Remmen area. Overnight strikes also hit the heights of Ali al-Taher, Arnoun, and Kfar Remmen.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stationed in the town of Khiam demolished several houses in its western neighborhood, triggering fires in nearby agricultural fields, according to the agency.

The developments came after the conclusion of the seventh round of Lebanese-Israeli talks in the Italian capital Rome, which aimed to strengthen security arrangements along the border and work toward implementing a bilateral framework agreement.
