TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei said on Monday that his country will not let the war end based on conditions set by the "aggressive" parties.
"We have definitely not been the party to start the war, but we will not let the war's end be based on the aggressive parties' conditions," Baghaei told a weekly press conference in Tehran. (Iran-U.S.-War)

JUBA -- The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) on Monday strongly condemned an ambush on its patrol traveling to Pajut, Jonglei State, which left two peacekeepers dead.
"Two peacekeepers were killed in the attack, while seven others were injured, including three peacekeepers, two South Sudan National Police Service personnel and two civilian staff," UNMISS said in a statement issued in Juba, the capital of South Sudan. (South Sudan-Peacekeeper-UNMISS)

BUDAPEST -- A Hungarian military fighter jet crashed near the central city of Szolnok on Monday morning, Prime Minister Peter Magyar said.
"For currently unknown reasons, one of the Hungarian Armed Forces' Gripen fighter jets crashed near Szolnok ... The pilot successfully ejected. An investigation is underway, and the defense minister is on his way to the scene," Magyar wrote on Facebook. (Hungary-Fighter Jet-Crash)

KATHMANDU -- Three people were killed and two others injured after a school bus and an auto-rickshaw collided in eastern Nepal's Udayapur district on Monday morning, police said.
All five people aboard the auto-rickshaw, including its driver, were injured in the accident. "Two of the injured were pronounced dead immediately after they were taken to a hospital, while the driver died during treatment," Ganesh Bahadur Bam, the spokesperson for the district police, told Xinhua.
