RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Colombian forward Kevin Serna struck late as Fluminense recovered from a goal down to secure a 2-1 home win over Remo in Brazil's Serie A on Saturday.
Jaja Silva opened the scoring at the Maracana by latching onto Marcelinho's cross with a first-time volley from eight yards.
Former Brazil international forward Hulk equalized just after the hour when his header rebounded in off the crossbar after Yeferson Soteldo's delivery from the left wing.
Serna completed the turnaround seven minutes from time with a glancing header into the far corner following Riquelme's cross.
The result extended Fluminense's unbeaten league run to seven matches, consolidating its place in the top four with 41 points. Remo remains in the relegation zone with 23 points from 24 games. ■
