MEXICO CITY, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Ricardo Marin scored two first-half goals as Guadalajara cruised to a 5-2 home win over Club Tijuana in Mexico's Liga MX Apertura tournament on Saturday.
Santiago Sandoval opened the scoring for the hosts and Marin struck twice in the space of 18 minutes to give his side a 3-0 lead at the interval.
Roberto Alvarado and Diego Campillo extended Guadalajara's lead before Elias Manoel reduced the deficit with two late goals.
Guadalajara is now fourth in the 18-team Liga MX Apertura standings with 10 points, ahead of Tijuana on goal difference.
Earlier on Saturday, Eduardo Mustre scored twice as Puebla won 3-2 at home to Santos Laguna. ■
