RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Tomas Cuello scored in the 93rd minute as Atletico Mineiro progressed to the Copa Sudamericana quarterfinals on Wednesday with a 2-2 home draw against Bragantino.
After winning last week's first leg 1-0, Atletico fell 1-0 behind on the night when Eric Ramires finished clinically on the counterattack in first-half stoppage time.
Midfielder Maycon then struck with a volley before Eduardo Sasha restored Bragantino's lead on the night with an 81st-minute strike.
Cuello restored his team's aggregate advantage with a powerful long-range shot that left goalkeeper Cleiton with no chance.
In Wednesday's other Copa Sudamericana round of 16 second-leg matches, Torque edged to a 2-1 home victory over Tigre and Santa Fe was held to a goalless home draw by River Plate. ■
