KUNMING, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Five people missing after a boat accident in southwest China's Yunnan Province have all been found and confirmed dead, authorities said Tuesday.
The accident occurred on the Nanpan River in Huaning County around 6 p.m. Wednesday, when a small privately owned boat carrying six people capsized, the county government said in a media release.
One of them was rescued and more than 470 rescuers, including firefighters and police, were mobilized to search for the remaining five.
Follow-up work is proceeding. ■
