FUZHOU, Aug. 18 (Xinhua) -- Jasmine tea is tea scented with the aroma of jasmine blossoms and typically has green tea as its base. The Jasmine tea scenting techniques of Fuzhou have been enlisted as a state-level intangible cultural heritage in China.

In recent years, businesses in Fuzhou have built on the traditional tea culture while developing innovative jasmine tea inspired product categories such as beverages, dessert and daily-use items. Meanwhile, the city has rolled out measures to promote jasmine tea brands and the integration of tea culture and tourism, aiming to stimulate cultural and tourism consumption.
