Unitree Robotics unveiled Monday a new humanoid robot, achieving a 2-meter standing high jump and a top speed of 12.66 m/s (45.6 km/h) with a leg length of 0.85 meters. The company says the machine has surpassed the standing high-jump and running-speed records of humans worldwide, after just over three months of development. With substantial room for further optimization, Unitree says the robot's performance could improve significantly in the months ahead.■
