BEIJING, Aug. 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Banda Sea at 1858 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 166.9 km, was initially determined to be at 6.53 degrees south latitude and 129.46 degrees east longitude. ■
