KIEV, Aug. 10 (Xinhua) -- Three Ukrainian deep-water ports handling 90 percent of the country's agricultural exports have halted operations after Russian attacks, Ukraine's Agriculture Ministry said Monday.
The ministry said Russia has carried out at least 180 attacks on port infrastructure in the Greater Odesa area since the beginning of 2026.
Ukraine's grain exports in the 2026-2027 marketing year could fall to 29.6 million tonnes, down 54 percent from an earlier forecast, the UNN news agency reported.
The Greater Odesa region incorporates the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdenny. ■
