RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Vasco da Gama has reached an agreement with River Plate to sign Argentine forward Facundo Colidio, the Brazilian club said on Friday.
The 26-year-old agreed to a contract that runs until December 2029 after undergoing a medical in Rio de Janeiro.
Vasco confirmed the news on social media along with a photo of Colidio wearing the club's black and white shirt.
Local media reported that Vasco will pay 4.5 million U.S. dollars for 50 percent of the attacker's economic rights, with an option to purchase the remaining 50 percent.
Colidio made 86 appearances for River Plate across all competitions following his 2023 move from Inter Milan. ■
