BUENOS AIRES, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- Former Inter Milan forward Joaquin Correa has rejoined Estudiantes after parting ways with Botafogo, the Argentine club said on Friday.
The 31-year-old signed a deal that runs until December 2028 after Estudiantes agreed to an undisclosed fee.
"I'm very happy to return," Correa said in a video published on social media. "It's what I wanted most: To come back to the club that helped me grow and gave me everything."
Correa represented Estudiantes from 2012 to 2014 before having spells at Sampdoria, Sevilla, Lazio, Inter Milan and Marseille.
He made 28 appearances across all competitions for Botafogo and scored three goals following his June 2025 move from Inter Milan. ■
