BISHKEK, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Kyrgyzstan exported 19,915.55 tonnes of dairy products to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and third countries during the first half of 2026, the Kyrgyz government said Wednesday.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry, during that period, Kyrgyzstan's dairy exports included 2,339 tonnes of ice cream, 100.56 tonnes of butter, 674.54 tonnes of cheese, 197.77 tonnes of fermented milk products and 189 tonnes of whey.

Furthermore, the country's exports of natural honey grew. In the first six months of this year, 228.84 tonnes of honey were exported to foreign markets.

"These figures demonstrate continued demand for Kyrgyz products in foreign markets and the expansion of export opportunities in the dairy and beekeeping industries," the ministry wrote on Telegram.

Kyrgyzstan continues to develop agricultural processing and increase export potential, focusing on the production of high-quality and competitive food products for the global market, the ministry added.
