MADRID, Aug. 6 (Xinhua) -- Jose Angel Esmoris, known as Angelino, has returned home after Deportivo a Coruna announced that the left-back will spend the coming season on loan from Roma.

The move brings Angelino's career full circle, as the 29-year-old local boy began his career in Deportivo's youth system before joining Manchester City.

He later had loan spells with New York City FC, Mallorca, Girona and NAC Breda before moving on to PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig and Roma.

"After playing in some of the most important venues in European football, Angelino returns home. To the city and the badge with which he took his first steps," explained the Deportivo website.

"Beyond the numbers and the clubs where he has shone, there is one aspect that makes this signing very special: the return of a Deportivo fan who never hid his desire to one day wear the first team shirt. Now that shared dream is becoming a reality," added the club, which has an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.

Deportivo has had a busy summer as it prepares to return to La Liga after finishing second in the Spanish second division last season. New arrivals include Spain international goalkeeper Leo Roman, Jonathan Asp Jensen and veteran striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
