PHNOM PENH, Aug. 5 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's international air passenger volume fell 9 percent year-on-year to 3.71 million during the first seven months of 2026, according to a State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) report issued on Wednesday.
The report noted that flights to Cambodia's international airports dipped 1 percent year-on-year, totaling 37,248 from January to July. Meanwhile, air cargo volume surged 21 percent to 57,102 tonnes during the same period.
Cambodia's international hubs include Techo International Airport in the capital city of Phnom Penh, Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, and Sihanouk International Airport.
SSCA Secretary of State and Spokesperson Sinn Chanserey Vutha said that 33 airlines connect Cambodia to ASEAN member states, East Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. ■
