HANOI, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's total import-export turnover reached an estimated 659.58 billion U.S. dollars in the first seven months of 2026, up 28.1 percent year on year, the National Statistics Office said Monday.
The Southeast Asian country recorded a trade deficit of 20.52 billion U.S. dollars during the January-July period.
Exports rose 21.7 percent year on year to 319.53 billion U.S. dollars, with processed industrial products remaining the largest export category, valued at 287.91 billion U.S. dollars.
Imports climbed 34.8 percent from a year earlier to 340.05 billion U.S. dollars, the report said. ■
