The 11th People's Naadam has kicked off in East Ujimqin Banner, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Meaning "gathering and joy" in Mongolian, the thousand-year-old festival brings together Bokh wrestling, horse racing and archery, celebrating grassland traditions, cultural heritage and ethnic unity.
