BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Kermadec Islands region at 2026 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35 km, was initially determined to be at 28.55 degrees south latitude and 176.57 degrees west longitude. ■
