BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Kermadec Islands region at 2026 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 28.45 degrees south latitude and 176.62 degrees west longitude. ■
