BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.6 jolted Peru-Brazil Border Region at 0058 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 144.7 km, was initially determined to be at 8.31 degrees south latitude and 74.12 degrees west longitude. ■
