ISLAMABAD -- At least eight people were killed and several others injured after the roof of a house collapsed in Lahore, the capital of Pakistan's eastern Punjab province, late Wednesday, rescue officials said.

KIEV -- Eight people were killed overnight between Wednesday and Thursday in Russian missile and drone strikes across Ukraine, Ukrainian authorities reported.

MANILA -- Two alleged members of the New People's Army (NPA) were killed and another was captured following a clash with Philippine Army troops in Oriental Mindoro province in central Philippines on Wednesday, according to local media reports.

TEHRAN -- Three members of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) were killed early Thursday in U.S. airstrikes, as the IRGC said it had launched retaliatory strikes on U.S. military facilities in Jordan and Kuwait, Iranian media reported.
Iran's semi-official Mehr news agency identified the victims as Mahmoud Mollajabbari, Mohammad-Reza Cheraghi, and Jamal Amiri, serving with the IRGC's Ansar al-Mahdi unit in northwestern Zanjan province. (Iran-U.S.-Strikes) ■
