BEIJING, July 30 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted South of Tonga Islands at 2052 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 24.69 degrees south latitude and 175.25 degrees west longitude. ■
