AMMAN, July 30 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Thursday dispatched its 11th humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon, delivering medical supplies to support those affected by the country's worsening humanitarian situation, according to the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization.
The 18-truck convoy, organized in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and partner organizations, was loaded with medical supplies and medicines, the organization said.
The latest shipment brings the total number of Jordanian aid trucks sent to Lebanon to 215, carrying food, medical, relief, and other essential supplies, it said.
Secretary General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization Hussein Shibli said the continued dispatch of aid convoys reflects Jordan's commitment to supporting Lebanon during difficult times and ensuring assistance reaches those most in need through coordination with relevant partners. ■
