BEIJING, July 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Solomon Islands at 1928 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 10.66 degrees south latitude and 161.36 degrees east longitude. ■
