ADEN, Yemen, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Chairman Rashad al-Alimi on Thursday issued a presidential decree appointing Afrah al-Zouba as minister of foreign affairs and expatriates as part of a limited cabinet reshuffle.
According to the state-run Saba news agency, the reshuffle also appointed Badr Basalma as minister of planning and international cooperation and Ahed Jassous as minister of local administration.
The reshuffle came after the PLC announced in February a 35-member government headed by Prime Minister Shaya al-Zindani.
Yemen has been mired in conflict since late 2014, when the Houthi group seized the country's capital Sanaa. The internationally recognized government has since operated mainly from the southern port city of Aden. ■
