Chinese mathematicians Deng Yu, Wang Hong awarded Fields Medals

Chinese mathematicians Deng Yu and Wang Hong were awarded the Fields Medals on Thursday, marking the first time Chinese mathematicians have won the prestigious honor. Fields Medalist Shing-Tung Yau sent congratulations to them.
