MANILA, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi expressed on Thursday the hope that Britain adheres to the one-China principle and safeguards the political foundation of bilateral relations.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks during his meeting with British Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband in Manila. ■
