BEIJING, July 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 61 km SSW of San Pedro de Atacama, Chile, at 1734 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 108.7 km, was initially determined to be at 23.38 degrees south latitude and 68.53 degrees west longitude. ■
