BEIJING, July 22 (Xinhua) -- China will broaden imports of advanced technology equipment, key components, energy resources and quality agricultural products, while diversifying source countries, during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030), the country's top customs official said on Wednesday.
Sun Meijun, head of the General Administration of Customs, made the remarks at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office.
Efforts will be made to promote better coordination between imports and exports, negotiate and sign more trade cooperation documents, and facilitate the entry of quality global goods into the Chinese market, in a bid to share China's vast market opportunities with the world while offering Chinese consumers more diversified choices, the official noted. ■
