BEIJING, July 19 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted central Peru at 0224 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 62.8 km, was initially determined to be at 12.05 degrees south latitude and 75.15 degrees west longitude. ■
