KABUL, July 19 (Xinhua) -- A new health center has been completed and put into operation in the Shultan district in eastern Kunar province, Bakhtar News Agency reported on Sunday.
The facility is expected to improve access to primary healthcare services for residents of the remote district and strengthen the delivery of basic medical care in the area, the report said.
Local officials said the health center has officially been handed over for public use. ■
