KABUL, July 18 (Xinhua) -- Afghan police have arrested an armed robber and seized a huge quantity of arms and ammunition in Khost province, eastern Afghanistan, provincial police spokesman Tahir Ehrar said Saturday.
Acting on a tip-off, police conducted operations in Nadir Shah Kot district, arrested the armed robber and seized arms and ammunition from his possession, the official added. ■
