Pineapples are ripening beneath solar panels in Heshan, south China's Guangdong Province, where an innovative agrivoltaics project is producing both clean energy and fresh fruit. Spanning about 80 hectares, the "solar-above, farming-below" model boosts land efficiency, improves soil quality, and delivers dual returns from power generation and agriculture.■
