NEW YORK, July 16 (Xinhua) -- Only eight nations have won the FIFA World Cup in the tournament's 96-year history, and this summer will produce another repeat champion, with either Spain or Argentina set to lift the trophy.
Brazil is the most successful nation in World Cup history with five titles. Italy and Germany have each won the tournament four times, while Argentina has won three. Uruguay and France have claimed two titles apiece, while Spain and England have each won the World Cup once.
